Defending New Hampshire and the 10th amendment.
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people"
~10th amendment to the U.S. constitution
What we are is a group of concerned people who are dedicated to the preservation and assertion of the 10th amendment to the constitution, which reads, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.". This ammendment was designed to assure the continuation of the concept of our republic of free states by limiting the power and authority of the federal government to strictly defined powers and responsabilities and leaving the rest to the individual states and then assuring that nothing could remove that limitation. The federal government functions best when it is limited and the states are allowed and encouraged to controll their own destinies.
We are seeing more and more circumvention of this with executive directives, unconstitutional legislation and the apathy of our state's leaders in standing up to these violations.
Our aim is to assure a free state through legislation that makes these circumventions a violation of state law, taking steps to make our state more economicly self sufficiant and supporting candidates that will stand up for New Hampshire both in our state government and in the federal government. By that, I don't mean letting them dig deep for loopholes and exclaim, "here, see?, it's legal, don't worry!", I mean firmly standing up for New Hampshire's rights and the rights of it's citizens with out excuse. Don't let them worm out of their elected duty.
I often hear people argue that such things are nessesary because of today's climate for security. This is a dangerous arguement that allows for even further loss of freedom. Give an inch, lose a mile. Ben Frankinlin once said, "anyone willing to sacrifice their liberty for security deserves neither".
We stood up as a state and refused the national ID initiative for the time being, but it is only a drop in the bucket and we still have a long way to go.
Are you aware the U.S. Border patrol now sets up random checkpoints, sometimes as far as 75 miles from any international border? Right on I 93 this past spring near Lincoln.
Are you aware the United States now has Federal military on U.S. soil training for civil disturbance control? Not rumor, FACT, right on the Army times website.
Did you know that Canadian troops can now theoreticly be used for the same thing? Again, FACT,right on the northcom.mil website.
The list of slaps in the face to the constitution and liberty goes on. these things should OUTRAGE you.
Again, our goal is to get New Hampshire to pass laws that make such things a violation of state law, the authority of the state supercedes the authority of the U.S. government in these matters. We need to get these laws passed and enforced. Please find out who your state represenatives and senators are in concord and write them. DEMAND laws against these things and DEMAND they are enforced. Demand Governor Lynch to PUBLICY denounce and refuse these violations. The federal government likes to use blackmail techniques such as with holding highway and welfare funds to a state when a state doesn't tow the line, demand that New Hampshire take measures to become more economicly independant and marginalize that blackmail.
Thank you for visiting, take some time and look around the site.
